On July 18th-20th, a team of researchers from UCL, the Open University and CUJAE (Havana’s technological university) worked with representatives of the local community and municipal and transport authorities in Central Havana to develop proposals to improve the Parque El Curita: an important urban square used by the local community and people from all corners of the city, for shopping, as a transport interchange, and a place to meet for social and cultural activities. The workshop was the latest activity of the Havana Sustainable Mobility project.
